As you may or may not know, I have lived with chronic pain for 20 years. I have an auto-immune disease called Rheumatoid Arthritis in over 40 joints. My condition and its associated symptoms, often make it hard for me to function on a day to day basis.
As a result, over the years, I have picked up different tools and tricks that I find help me manage my pain. Although, none of these tools are a "magic pill," for me what's most important is moving my way down the pain scale. If on a particular day, I can move my pain from a "4" to a "3" than I consider that a victory.
In this vlog, I share the tools that I keep in my "Self Care Box." These are not all the tools I keep in my roster, but I thought this would be a good place to start.
If you are also living with chronic pain, know that my heart goes out to you. I hope that one day soon you are able to find some relief.
Here are the gloves I mentioned in the video :).
